The Practice of Acting Course

A Part-time evening acting course for adults (1.5 hours per week over 16 weeks)
This course is suitable for adults who:

Are curious about acting or want to return to it.

Are beginners or have previous experience.

Want to build their acting skills to perform in plays, musicals or on screen.

Can commit to a weekly class over 16 weeks.
No audition required.
What We'll Work On
Over the course of 16 weeks, sessions will include:

Practical acting technique.

Scene Work and Character Development.

Voice, Movement and Presence.
-
Working truthfully and confidently in front of others.
The focus is on doing, not performing for judgment.
The Learning Environment
Classes are taught in a supportive, non-judgmental setting.
The aim is to create a space where you feel safe to explore, take risks, and develop at your own pace.
Various exercises may require movement. Please inform if you have any issues.
A short, informal chat is offered before enrolment to answer questions and ensure the course is a good fit.
